Terms of service

These terms apply to the Formwell bot for Discord and to formwell.tuper.app, made by tuper (tuper.app). By adding Formwell to a server or using it, you agree to them and to Discord's terms.
The free plan
Every server can use Formwell free with no time limit: 3 forms with up to 5 questions each, unlimited submissions, a review channel with accept and deny, a role on accept and direct messages to applicants. We may improve the free plan; we will not turn its current features into paid ones for existing servers without notice.
Pro
Pro costs $5 per month or $48 per year per Discord server and adds the features listed in the pricing section. It is sold through Polar (polar.sh), which acts as merchant of record and handles billing, taxes and invoices. A subscription renews until you cancel; you can cancel any time from the Polar customer portal link in your receipt, and Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Email us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. If Pro ends, nothing is deleted: forms beyond the free limits stop taking new submissions until Pro is active again.
Server staff responsibilities
Staff who create forms decide what they ask. Don't use Formwell to collect passwords, payment card numbers, government ID numbers or other sensitive data, or data from people under the age Discord allows. Tell your members how you use their answers. You are responsible for the roles you let Formwell give.
Acceptable use
Don't use Formwell to break the law, Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, to spam or harass, or to try to get around the Pro check. We may stop serving servers that do.
No warranty and liability
Formwell is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and depends on Discord being available. To the extent the law allows, tuper is not liable for indirect or consequential losses or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Formwell in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Material changes for paying servers are announced at least 14 days ahead.
