Formwell

Discord welcome message template (copy and paste, free)

Fill in your server name and channels, tick the steps you want new members to follow, and copy one of four ready welcome messages: friendly, short, gaming, or one that sends people to an application form. Each shows its length against Discord's 2000-character limit. Nothing is uploaded: it all runs in your browser.

Steps to list

Welcome them, then let them apply.

Formwell runs staff applications, whitelist requests and ban appeals inside Discord: members click Apply, answer in a pop-up, and your staff press Accept or Deny in a review channel; Accept gives the role and DMs the member. Free: 3 forms, 5 questions each, unlimited submissions.

Where a welcome message goes

Discord has no single place for it. Common routes: the Welcome Screen in Server Settings (Community servers), a pinned post in a read-only #welcome channel, or a bot that greets each new member. Paste the text into whichever you use and replace the greeting with the member's name or a mention.
